Require Citizenship to Vote in elections and Allow 17-year-olds to Vote in Primaries
- Will repeal and replace Section 1 of Article II of state constitution.
- Removes “Every citizen of the US of the age of 21….” and replaces with “Only a citizen of the US of the age of 18…”
- Also states “For purposes of a primary election, US citizens must be 18 years of age as of the next general election, following the primary election.”
